Do You Feel Like You're Pushing A Rock Uphill?

Have you ever planned a nice meal for your family and just as you're about to sit down there's a knock at the door? As you open to door you're happy and worried to see some good friends you haven't seen in awhile who were in the area and decided to stop by.

You invite them in and tell them to pull up a chair and somehow the meal you made for your family of four is able to stretch and feed eight of you and everyone is full? 

Jesus can multiply our efforts to make them sufficient for the task at hand. We see that in today's Gospel where He multiplies the 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed 15,000 people.

The Apostles were worried when Jesus said

"give them some food yourselves."

When all was said and done everyone had their fill and went home happy and satisfied. That's how it is with the Lord. Bring Him your all and He will see to it that you reach your goals and dreams if you are committed to doing what it takes to make it happen. 

Trust in the Lord. Keep the faith.
