In today's second reading (1 Thes 1:5c-10) we read how pleased Paul was that they had turned from idols to live as the Lord wanted them to live.

Have you ever planned a nice meal for your family and just as you're about to sit down there's a knock at the door? As you open to door you're happy and worried to see some good friends you haven't seen in awhile who were in the area and decided to stop by.
You invite them in and tell them to pull up a chair and somehow the meal…
