Hi everyone – I was reading a magazine last night and found an interesting paragraph at the bottom of one of the pages. Paraphrasing, the article stated that it has been found that saying the Lord’s Prayer makes us happier! They said that because the Lord’s Prayer covers every aspect of our lives, it impacts more of our brain and especially the areas that affect our mood in a positive way. Hi everyone – I was reading an interesting blog the other day (see below for link) about breathing. We don’t breathe enough – doesn’t that sound silly? Last week a fellow instructor, where my husband is a professor, suffered the loss of a nephew who died in Afghanistan. This was devastating news as this man and his wife also suffered the loss of their own son 10 years ago in a car accident. Since this couple had some idea of how to proceed with a funeral, they were asked by the young soldier’s family to do all the planning and arrangements for the service and burial of their son who died in military action.
